Superhero Sam Saves His Family

The author is a single parent of four grown children and a grandmother of three (and counting). After losing her husband to Lou Gehrig’s disease, she raised her four children as a single mother. She was inspired to write Compassion Magic and her children’s book, Superhero Sam Saves His Family, as a result of her own struggle to find compassion in her life and to raise compassionate and thoughtful children in a world that seems to be imbued with an atmosphere of selfishness and narcissism.
