Fred Wolfe has been climbing mountains for over fifty years. He has climbed hundreds of peaks in the United States as well as across the globe including France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Nepal and Switzerland. He has reached the summit of over 400 peaks including all 54 peaks in Colorado over 14,000 feet. In addition to being a member of the American Alpine Club since 1989, Fred has served on the Board of Trustees for the Colorado Outward Bound School. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Altitude Research Center Foundation within the Division o Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He and his wife, 2 children and 4 grandchildren live in Denver, Colorado.
