Denny Geraghty is a retired secondary social studies teacher with 26 years of classroom experience in the Adams 12 Five Star School District in Northglenn, Colorado. In addition he spent six years as a Teacher in Residence as part of the University of Colorado- Denver’s Initial Teacher Education (ITE) program supervising secondary student teachers.

He has been a presenter at the Rocky Mountain Social Studies regional convention, and is a recipient of two national awards for the teaching of economics and eight district awards for innovative teaching.
